To make the Bioshock 2 video game experience richer for players, 2K Games recently announced the availability of the Bioshock 2 Special Edition for XBox 360, PS3 and Windows Live, starting early 2010. The exciting announcement was made in Australia and has managed to spur much interest.

Starting February 9, 2010, the Special Edition, which will include many supplements as well as the game, will be available throughout Australia and New Zealand for the aforementioned consoles. While for XBox 360 and PS3 the Bioshock 2 Special Edition will come with an estimated price tag of AU$149.95 (NZ $159.95), the offering will be priced at about A$129.95 (NZ $129.95) for the Windows Live version.

The Bioshock 2 Special Edition contains a 12" Vinyl LP with the original Bioshock orchestra score, an audio CD of the Bioshock 2 music score, 3 vintage advertisement posters of Rapture, hardcover Bioshock 2 Art Book (164 pages) and the Bioshock 2 video game.

The company has confirmed that the Bioshock 2 Special Edition will be limited to a single-production run only, and enthusiastic customers are advised to pre-order the bundle to avoid any disappointments.
