Yousaf Gillani not keen on becoming Pak PM
Islamabad, Mar. 18: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Vice Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani told reporters at Parliament House on Monday that he was not keen to become the country’s Prime Minister.
He said he had “completed his innings” and was now a National Assembly member for five years.
He said his party members wanted Asif Zardari to be the prime minister, but Zardari had not announced the party’s candidate for prime minister so far.
Asked why his party had authorised Co-chairman Asif Zardari to make all its decisions, the Daily Times quoted him as saying that the decision was made after thorough consideration. (ANI)
