New computer virus infects key government and consumer websites

computer virusLondon, July 23 : Eastern European hackers are suspected of placing the Asprox virus on more than a thousand British websites, which including key government and consumer websites, in the past two weeks.

According to a report in The Times, using the virus, the hackers have been able to steal the personal details of anyone browsing the sites.

Experts described the Asprox virus as an alarming departure from commonplace viruses which tend to be spread through rogue e-mails and unregulated websites.

Sony launched its new 16.4 inch VAIO FW Notebook in the market. It will come in a premium and a standard model. The display of PC is well suited for Blu-ray Disc movies. It is provided with extra-wide LCD with 16:9 aspect ratios. The display provides razor-sharp details, bold colors and glare-free viewing. It is patented with XBRITE-HiColor LCD technology on select models.

VAIO FW Notebook is powered by Intel Centrino 2 technology. This technology is very much energy efficient and quick responsive. It is provided with some units of ultimate platform of window vista. The weight of the model is slightly more than six pounds.  

CherryPal launches ultra-simple cloud PC

Cloud PC, the CherryPal Desktop, would soon be available in the market. The customers would be able to benefit a lot from this paperback-book sized book, which has 256MB of DDR2 memory and a 4GB flash drive. It basically runs on Freescale’s MPC5121e mobileGT processor.

CherryPal cloud PC will also have 50GB of Internet storage, which would be managed and protected by CherryPal staff.

This budget-priced, maintenance free PC has a 20-second boot-up time. The online administrators of the company would perform all system maintenance for users, with automatic backups that ensure no files are lost.

The cloud PC is mainly targeted towards students aged 14 to 25.
