The top end ‘N-Series’ range of Nokia handsets has now strengthened further to include a new multimedia device known as the ‘Nokia N97’, which  will hit the European markets during the first half of the coming year (2009).

The computer mouse, which was invented back in 1968 by Doug Engelbart and his team at the Stanford Research Institute in California, is facing extinction since the new technology might replace it. The computer mouse, which is now 40 years old, was developed after the team realized that there was a need for a simpler way of controlling computers than the standard light pen which had been used since the Second World War.

The mouse got its name since it quite resembled the animal and it was termed such by one unnamed researcher.

Asus recently released the latest addition to its ever-expanding Netbook line, the Eee PC 1002HA. This latest Netbook comes wrapped in a gray, brushed-aluminum chassis. Otherwise it has the usual standard 10-inch Netbook--Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, and Windows XP.

The 1002HA falls between the basic, black Eee PC 1000 and the sleek, thin S101 on the Eee PC scale. It carries a price tag quite similar to that of the former, at $499. It weighs nearly 2.65 pounds; a few ounces heavier than the S101.

On Monday, Microsoft extended its apology to the online shoppers who were looking to clinch Balck Friday deals, but were frustrated to the core due to the glitches on its Live Search Cashback site.

Consumers faced a lot of problems from the site, from sluggishness to seeing the wrong amount of cashback showing up in their accounts in the midst of heavy traffic on Friday.
