The laptops and their 13.3 inch touchscreens are resistant to splashing water and can survive a fall from up to 76 cm, Panasonic reports. The hard drive is also flexibly anchored to the motherboard, including an extra layer of foam to prevent jolts from leading to data loss.
Recently, Panasonic announced its latest Toughbook H1 that has been specially developed for health environments. Basically the low power Intel Atom processor is incorporated by this rugged mobile clinical assistant (MCA). The latest Panasonic Toughbok H1 aims at redefining performance and functionality for the MCA category via offering six long hours of battery life, dual hot swappable batteries, screen that can be viewed in daylight and integrated Gobi technology.
