On Sunday, a well known paper put forward the latest piece of news that Microsoft Corp is mulling to provide new programs and services for mobile phones, including an “online bazaar” for software.
The report published in the paper said that the online bazaar would be for phones running Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system.
It said, “Microsoft will also soon offer its latest version of Windows Mobile, which the report said would have a more sophisticated interface.”
On Thursday three latest cellphone models were launched by Nokia, among which the successor to its slim hit model Nokia 6300 is also included.
In the second quarter of this year, Nokia will come out with its 6700 classic with a price tag of 235 euros ($307.4) when excluding subsidies and taxes, which is the follow up of the Nokia 6300 that was among Nokia's top sellers for many quarters.
The features of this model will include a 5-megapixel camera and GPS navigation with Nokia Maps.
The leading luxury mobile phones manufacturer Vertu launched new mobile phone, the Vertu Signature, available at Vertu boutiques and many leading watch, jewellery and department stores worldwide.

On Wednesday, Airtel and Research in Motion (RIM) will announce the launch of BlackBerry Pearl Flipsmartphone in India. It has been learnt that the product would be priced at Rs 21,990.
The users are allowed to type and dial easily in the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone and the external display of smartphone provides previewing calendar reminders, email, text messages and phone calls.
Recently, the ASUS P565 was launched by ASUS, which basically is a business PDA phone that boasts 800 MHz processor. The handset also features ASUS' latest touch-driven user interface - Glide.
