A new offer is in the offing from the world’s largest PC maker, Acer!

On its complete range of netbooks, Acer has announced its new limited period special offer from January 9 to January 20, 2009.

After this declaration, the world’s most-demanding netbook, Acer Aspire One will be available at just Rs 14,499.

For its Aspire One netbook Linux edition, the company has also announced a special price of just Rs 14,499, while the Windows XP Home version will be priced at Rs 16,499. Both these prices are excluding taxes.

Acer, a worldwide maker and distributor of computer product,s has rolled out its Aspire One range of Netbooks at affordable prices for its Indian customers.

According to sources, thru new range Netbooks, Internet and basic computing can easily be available while on the move.

Weighing less than a kilogram, the notebook runs on advance Intel Atom processor technology. It comes packed with 1 GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive. It is accessible with operating system options of Linpus Linux Lite or Windows XP Home.

For the purpose of providing the exclusive Seagate Momentus 5400.6 hard drives for the Acer Aspire and TravelMate professional laptops, Acer and Seagate have joined hands to lend support to each other. 

A leading mobile internet device manufacturer, Acer has slashed the prices of its various products in the American market. Aspire one AOA150-1570 now can be purchased at a price of $349 (approx. Rs. 15,122). Earlier its cost was $399.

The price of Linpus Linux Lite-based Aspire one AOA110-1722 is also slashed to$329 (approx. Rs.14255). The Windows XP Home support model AOA150-1447 is now available for $399. The company is providing one year warranty on these products at major retailers across US. The products are well-suited for checking e-mails, net surfing and for playing music. All the models have good storage capacity of 1GB to 120GB internal memory.
