The price of Linpus Linux Lite-based Aspire one AOA110-1722 is also slashed to$329 (approx. Rs.14255). The Windows XP Home support model AOA150-1447 is now available for $399. The company is providing one year warranty on these products at major retailers across US. The products are well-suited for checking e-mails, net surfing and for playing music. All the models have good storage capacity of 1GB to 120GB internal memory.

The light weight, compact and smart Aspire One has now entered in the entry-level segment. It will surely attract the young population such as students, travellers, tech-savvy enthusiasts and professionals. Commenting on this price down, the senior manager of notebook product marketing for Acer America, Kristin Markworth said that the new price is affordable for students and professionals and it will complete their connectivity needs and attract more number of new customers.
