RITES, Rail Vikas Nigam, Container Corporation, NALCO were among major gainers in PSU stock segment.

IRFC, NTPC Green Energy, Engineers India, BHEL, IDBI Bank, IREDA, RITES, REC and RCF were among major losers in PSU stocks segment.

Dredging Corporation, SAIL and HPCL were among gainers in PSU stocks while IREDA, NTPC, NHPC and NTPC Green Energy closed the session in negative territory.

IREDA share price declined by 1.8 percent on Thursday after stellar performance on Wednesday.
