London, Feb. 10: Luiz Felipe Scolari will pocket about 7.5 million pounds after being axed by the Chelsea Football Club yesterday.

The 60-year-old Brazilian's huge pay-off is compensation for getting the boot just seven months into his three-year 18.75 million deal, reports The Sun.

It means owner Roman Abramovich will have forked out 32.5 million pounds to the four managers he has sacked since taking over the West London club five years ago.

The London club announced the decision two days after their goalless draw at home to Hull City, a result which made it just two wins out of six league games, slipping them to fourth, seven points behind leaders Manchester United.

London, Jan 17 : Luiz Felipe Scolari, the manager of the English Premier League side Chelsea, has put his entire squad up for sale and wants to exchange four of them for Manchester City's striker Robinho.

"I can reveal Scolari is trying to get the Brazilian to Chelsea after missing out in August. And the struggling Blues boss even invited clubs to make an offer for any of his players," The Sun quoted sources, as saying.

London, Dec 29 : Chelsea coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has said that the Premier League title hunt was still open as his club went into 2009 three points behind leaders Liverpool.

The Blues managed only a 2-2 draw at Fulham and are three points behind Liverpool. Chelsea topped the table at the end of November, but has faltered since, with Liverpool taking full advantage.

"The championship is not finished. It will go down to the last two games," Scolari said.

Chelsea manager Scolari is top of the Brazilian football confederation's shortlist of coaches to replace the under-fire Dunga, who is expected to be sacked in the next fortnight after a dismal World Cup qualifying campaign that has left the five-times winners in serious danger of missing out on a place at the World Cup finals in 2010.
