Stock issues linger in iPad launch, UK

Stock issues linger in iPad launch, UKThe stock for iPad continue to daunt UK as no iPad devices were to be found left in any of the stores in UK.

The iPad 3G 32GB and the 16GB 3G models were the most populous among the Britons and were selling like hot cakes in central London.

People were seen returning their iPads because they were given the wrong ones. One particular case saw a vendor offer a £100 discount on iPad as the other model was not available.

Many sites such as PC World and Curry’s have listed out the stores which are selling the tablet devices and each store with a permit to sell ten or more iPads, that sums up to a few thousand units for sale.

The retailers who couldn’t get more of the stock of their favoured device were seemingly appalled and dejected and were heard quoting, that they felt being "let down" by Apple as they were promised more stock but failed to deliver on that particular account.

As of now the 32GB 3G and 16GB 3G will be out of stock till next Monday, but the 64GB 3G version is available after shelling out an extra £100.
