Shiney Ahuja finally out of prison on bail

Shiney Ahuja finally out of prison on bailBollywood actor Shiney Ahuja was finally granted bail by the Bombay High Court.  

Earlier his bail application was twice rejected by the court. He was arrested on June 15 for raping his 20-year-old maid servant when his family was not at home.  

Shiney was released from Arthur Road Jail on Saturday where he was kept for three months. 50,000 was deposited as surety as per the conditions prescribed by the High Court while granting bail.  

Justice A.P. Deshpande has also ordered the actor to stay outside Mumbai so that there is no risk of influencing the witnesses or meddling with the evidence.  

The actor is also not allowed to leave India. He will be staying in Delhi till his trial begins in a fast-track court in Mumbai. He reached New Delhi with his wife Anupam on Sunday. Shiney’s parents were also present at the airport to receive the couple.   

Shiney’s lawyer Shrikant Shivade said: "He left for Delhi by Kingfisher flight at around 7 a.m. He will be coming back to Mumbai for the court hearing on Oct 7."
