Sanjay Dutt urges people to lead a drug-free life
Patna, Feb 20 : Bollywood actor-turned-politician Sanjay Dutt has urged people to lead a drug-free life.
Dutt said that leading a natural life was far better than a life filled with drug-induced pleasures.
"Leading a life without drugs gives us extreme happiness. The intoxication of natural life is far better than the intoxication caused by drugs and other toxic elements. I took the pledge that I would never take drugs in my entire life," Dutt said.
Dutt, along with his wife Manyata and Samajwadi Party''s general secretary Amar Singh were in the city to inaugurate an alternate medicine centre on the invitation of Shatrughan Sinha, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader.
Sinha said no political spin should be given to his sharing a common dais with Samajwadi Party leaders.
"As I stated earlier, please don''t give any political angle if Amar Singh praised me. I also praised Amar Singh, as he is a learned, good orator and having a good influence in politics. Amar Singh himself said that he didn''t talk about politics or Advaniji on this occasion," he said. (ANI)
