A Russian official, who raised alarm over a FIFA corruption investigation led by the US, is now demanding that global powers should investigate the 1969 and 1972 moon landings.

According to The Daily Mail, Vladimir Markin, who is a spokesman for the Russian government’s Investigative Committee, wants that the international community should investigate lost footage from the 1969 moon landing in addition to the present location of all lunar soil obtained on subsequent missions,. His original comments have been published in Russia’s Izvestia newspaper.

The Daily Mail reported that the Russian wrote, “We are not contending that they did not fly [to the moon], and simply made a film about it. But all of these scientific— or perhaps cultural — artifacts are part of the legacy of humanity, and their disappearance without a trace is our common loss”.

In 2009, NASA said that original high-resolution footage of the July 20, 1969, moon landing was lost. NASA video engineer Dick Nafzger said in 2009 that nobody in the NASA organization did anything wrong and the footage slipped through the cracks and it’s sad.

According to some, NASA was not able to land on the moon, and the Apollo missions were a complicated prank, recorded on a soundstage. And some people say that Stanley Kubrick was director of the action.

NASA has stored many of the lunar rocks at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, however institutions and governments around the world have not seen any of these samples.
