Training camp for Pak cricket team in Dubai ahead of Oz seriesKarachi, Mar. 19: The Pakistan cricket team would be leaving for Dubai on April 13 to take part in a conditioning cum training camp ahead of the One-day international series against Australia.

Pakistan is slated to host Australia in the United Arab of Emirates (UAE), where both the teams will play five One-day internationals and a Twenty-20 match.

The matches would be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from April 22 to May 7.

A video received by the Miramshah Press Club showed Qahaar appealing the Canada and Pakistan government to help her return safe.

“I am very sick and they (kidnappers) will kill me at the end of March,” the video footage showed Qahaar, as saying.

“Border and other areas of Balochistan territory are not congenial for Taliban activities,” Major General told reporters in the FC headquarters here, adding that Quetta is not safe haven of Taliban.

Pak extends police remand of three Mumbai suspects by two daysIslamabad, Mar. 18 : a Pakistani anti-terrorism court has extended the police remand of three Mumbai attack suspects by another two days.

Anti-terror Court judge Sakhi Mohammad Kahut remanded Lashker-e-Taiba operatives Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, Zarar Shah and Abu al-Qama to the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

They are being held in Rawalpindi's high-security Adiala Jail.
