The three-day meeting of the party''s national executive and the two day meeting of its national council would be BJP''s last major gathering before taking on the ruling Congress-led UPA government at the hustings.
Mumbai, Feb. 6, : Private air-carrier Kingfisher Airlines on Friday cut its pilots' salaries by Rs. 80,000.
The salary package is mainly based on flying hours. The whole package has now been revised downwards to ensure parity with former Deccan pilots.
An airline official confirmed the pay-cut, saying it was the result of a move towards a productivity-linked compensation structure, which is the international norm.

Ashapura Minechem Ltd has signed up a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) with government of Maharashtra in order to establish a high-tech Alumina Complex at Ratnagiri, in the coastal belt of Maharashtra.
The company would spend Rs 4,200 crore on the project including an investment of Rs 1,320 Crores for a 330 MW Captive Power Plant.

(IPL).
Shilpa Shetty bought a twelve percent stake in the Rajasthan Royals.
She will invest 15.4 million dollars in the team with her London-based businessman partner Raj Kundra.
Rajasthan Royals owner Manoj Badale has confirmed reports of Shetty buying a stake.
Shilpa said she would have a role in the team''s promotional activities this year.
Mumbai, Feb 2 : The winning duo of Australian Mixed doubles title Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza arrived at the Airport here on Monday.
"It''s a great way to comeback. It is my first tournament of the year and many more to go ahead. So I am just going to be happy with wining this grand slam and will see from here," said Sania Mirza.
When asked whether both will continue to play such mixed doubles tournament in future, pat came the reply from Mahesh Bhupathi, "yes definitely".
