SRK To Undergo Shoulder Surgery Today

SRK To Undergo Shoulder Surgery TodayThe reigning god of Indian cinema Shahrukh Khan will undergo shoulder today at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.

A friend of the actor said that SRK, who has got his previous surgeries done in London, has decided to undergo a shoulder surgery in India to stay away from the criticism that came his way in 2003.

The actor, who had hurt himself on the sets of Vivek Vaswani’s “Dulha Mil Gaya” in November last year, has never allowed any damage to have an effect on his matchless performance.

On condition of secrecy, SRK’s friend said, “When he got his back surgery done in London there was criticism about his lack of faith in Indian doctors. Shah Rukh feels that some of the finest doctors in the world are in Mumbai and so he sees no need to go to the West for treatment.”

However, the pain increased while shooting for Karan Johar’s upcoming film “My Name is Khan”.

Regardless of his aching shoulder, SRK preferred to promote his newly launched flick ‘Billu’ energetically during the Valentine week.

The friend said, “After attending the special screening of Billu for hairdressers in Mumbai Thursday, Shah Rukh flew to London with Lara Dutta and Irrfan Khan for the film's premiere. He came back to Mumbai Sunday to prepare for Monday's surgery.”

After the surgery, the actor will have to rest for a month. Shahrukh will resume shooting after recovering from his operation.

But Karan Johar, who is one of the close friend of the superstar, is not upset.

“Films will keep happening. Shah Rukh needs to be well,” Karan said.
