Saeed, Colonel (r) Nazeer Ahmad, Abdul Rehman and Ameer Hamza filed the petition under Article 199(1bi) of the constitution, the Daily Times reports.

The leaders of the banned organization have asked the court to determine if they were being held in custody in accordance with the law, their counsel AK Dogar said.

Court adjourns hearing on Ijaz Ahmad’s bail petition till Monday

Ijaz AhmadLahore, Apr. 4 : A magistrate court has adjourned hearing on the bail petition filed by the former Pakistan middle order batsman Ijaz Ahmed, who was remanded to 14 days police custody in a fraud case.

According to The News, Ahmed could not be produced before the court due to his ill-health, following which the court adjourned the hearing till Monday.

Ahmad has been shifted to the Services Hospital after his condition deteriorated.

Earlier, he was remanded in police custody in a fake cheque case under Section 489-F PPC.

According to a private news channel, the armed talibs broke into the building on Friday morning and directed the staff to stop routine operations.

The group reportedly stopped staff from working because men and women were working in the same place.

The Taliban, then demanded the NADRA authorities ensure that men and women work separately in the office.
