Shibu Soren to prove majority tomorrowRanchi, Aug 28 : Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, who was sworn-in as the state chief minister for the second time last evening, will prove majority on the floor of the State Assembly tomorrow.

A special session of Jharkhand Assembly is being convened two days after the JMM chief was sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Sibu SarenRanchi, August 27 : Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand here today. This is his second stint in the State CM office in the past three years.

Governor Syed Sibtey Razi administered the oath of office and secrecy to Soren and 11 of his cabinet colleagues at Morabadi ground here.

He will have to prove majority on the floor of the State Assembly on September 1, as per a directive from the Raj Bhawan.

The swearing-in ceremony of the 64-year-old tribal leader will be held at the Morabadi Ground at around 4:00 p. m.

He will have to prove majority on the floor of the State Assembly on September 1, as per a directive from the Raj Bhawan.

Shibu Soren claims to form next Govt.

Madhu Koda, who refused on Saturday, refused to support JMM President Shibu Soren, who claimed to form the next government in Jharkhand on Monday.

Koda's resignation cleared the way for the JMM president to stake his claim to form the new government. He recently sent a letter to Rajbhawan thorugh the hands of his son, Durga Soren, in which he had staked to claim the new government. But till now, it is unclear as whether he would be able to gather the majority for himself or not.  
 
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad, who has seven MLAs in the Jharkhand Assembly, is among those which have given support to Soren’s party.
