Rampant corruption and lack of clear-cut economic policies pinning Karnataka down

TV Mohandas Pai, HR head of IT giant Infosys is concerned that industries have been driven out of Karnataka for the extensive corruption and lack of definite economic policies.

In the LPG (Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalisation) era, there should be the permission of the private investments by the state government in all sectors freely. It should give the economic power in the hands of the people of the state as said by him.

During, the Karnataka’ seminar which was held at the World Kannada Meet he has delivered the presidential lecture on globalization. He has blamed the state government for not reducing corruption.

Pai has said that if a person who is interested to build up an industry in the state then at first he has to pay all the officials at each and every stage, whether it may be the land acquisition or getting permission from the pollution control board etc.  And for this attitude of the officials, no one is interested to do and they are vanishing away from the industries.

And now it is the turn of the state government to stir up and initiate a clear policy so as to promote entrepreneurs.
