Rallis India plans to invest Rs 150-crore in Dahej plantRallis India plans to invest Rs 150-crore in Dahej plantTata Group firm, Rallis India envisages to make an investment of Rs 150-crore in its Dahej (Gujarat) facility with the aim to spread out its production capacity.

As per official sources, the conglomerate has decided to pump this amount in the first stage of its expansion by the second three month period of the coming fiscal.

Rallis India officials stated in a communiqué that in the beginning, the plant will enhance company's existing products and later, in Phase-II, the facility will cater to contract manufacturers.

The company believes that after inception the Dahej facility would be able to produce Rs 500-crore of revenue within three fiscals.

As per reports of media, Rallis is also collaborating with leading companies in the agro-chemical business for contract manufacturing of technical grades, formulations as well as intermediaries.
