London, Apr 29 : American actor Mickey Rourke has revealed that his wrestling match with Chris Jericho was nowhere easy and he ended up with a broken hand.

Rourke, 56, had faced the professional grappler earlier this month at the WWE's Wrestlemania 25 in Houston, Texas, following a bitter and public war of words with Jericho.

The actor is said to have left his fans stunned after he stood up from his seat in the crowd, clambered over the guard ropes and delivered a punch that left Jericho reeling.

London, Apr 23 : American actor Mickey Rourke has revealed that he almost did not make it as a boxer, and that he had to beg his coach Freddie Roach, to give him a second chance.

Roach, who is currently training Manny Pacquiao for his upcoming fight with Brit Ricky Hatton, had refused to work with Rourke in 1990 because he was not committed or disciplined enough to be a good fighter.

Washington, Mar 19 : Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke, who won Golden Globe award for his flick ‘The Wrestler’, is all set to fight real-life wrestler Chris Jericho in Wrestle Mania Smackdown.

Mickey pulled out of the fight to be held in April, as Jericho got offended by his speech at the Screen actors guild awards red carpet.

"I don''t have respect for you... Be careful what you wish for, Mr. Rourke,” Contactmusic quoted Jercho as saying on the Larry King show earlier.
