New Delhi, Sept 6 : Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Saturday held discussions with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and National Security Adviser M K Narayanan on the deliberations of the 45-member Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) after the crucial two day meeting remained inconclusive on Friday.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Friday that the 150-year-old Madras University was a unique and great institution as it had produced several distinguished personalities, including two Nobel laureates C V Raman and S Chandrasekar.
Chennai, Sept 5 : Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will lay the foundation stone for the Rs 1750-crore modernisation and expansion of the Salem Steel Plant (SSP) at Salem in Tamil Nadu today.
The foundation ceremony will be held in the presence of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Union Minister for Steel Ram Vilas Paswan.
