Washington, Jan 20 : Actress Katie Holmes has been roped in to star in a comedy film titled "The Extra Man."

The film, based on a novel by Jonathan Ames, will be helmed by Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini of `American Splendour' fame.

Besides Holmes, the film will also star Kevin Kline, Paul Dano, and John C. Reilly.

Kline plays a failed playwright who works as an escort for rich widows on the Upper East Side. He develops a mentor-student relationship with a troubled aspiring playwright (Dano).

In an interview with Steppin'' Out, the Wicked Models boss arrested after the Eliot Spitzer scandal revealed how much the celebs like Britney Spears, Katie Holmes, Angelina Jolie and Paris Hilton would have earned if they were a hooker.

"Katie would be very popular because she has that All-American college girl look," the New York Daily News quoted Davis as saying.

The list also featured Gwyneth Paltrow in a selection from Stella McCartney, Mary-Kate Olsen in Missoni, Lesley Garrett in a selection from Rachel Elbaz.

Sharon Stone in Christian Dior, Tina Turner in Giorgio Armani, Nancy Dell''Olio in Jitrois also made it to the list.

Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills was included in the list for her own design.
