Washington, April 16 : Actress Kate Walsh has approached Los Angeles'' Superior Court of California with the plea that her estranged husband Alex Young be blocked from claiming alimony.

She split from Young last year after just 12 months of marriage, and they are currently entangled in divorce proceedings.

The Private Practice star wants to avoid paying Young alimony.

She had her lawyers file documents on Monday requesting the court to stop Young from claiming any money from her, reports Contactmusic.

Washington, Mar 4 : Kate Walsh may be amidst her divorce proceedings, but she is so keen on having children that she has been volunteering at a local children''s hospital in Los Angeles to nurture her parenting skills.

The `Private Practice' actress is separating from her husband Alex Young, whom she wed in September 2007.

But the 41-year-old star would love to become a mother, and thus has signed up for volunteer work at a baby unit in Los Angeles, to nurture her parenting skills.

Washington, Sept 20 : Actress Kate Walsh has topped a poll of ‘Hollywood’s Hottest Redheads’.

The poll was conducted by entertainment magazine In Touch Weekly.

Walsh, a natural blonde, admits that flame-haired women definitely have more fun than their fair-headed or brunette counterparts.

"When I was blonde, they treated me like a girly girl. As a redhead, it was a little more sassy," Contactmusic quoted her, as telling the mag.
