After spending eight years in the Hindi film industry, Big B’s loving son Abhishek Bachchan, who celebrated his 33rd birthday on Thursday, said that the style of his acting is more like that of his mother, Jaya Bachchan.
In an interview, Junior Bachchan said, “Dad is an inspiration to the whole world. His creativity, dedication are legendary. He is a great source of inspiration. However, my acting style is more like my mother. I would like to believe that I have the best of both.”
Firing his salvo again on Bachchans, chief of Maharashtra Navnirman (MNS) Sena Raj Thackeray has demanded an unconditional apology from Jaya Bachchan for her remark on Hindi.
MNS chief said that if Mrs. Bachchan will not apologies, then his party men will do their best to halt the releases of all the movies involving the Bachchan family.
Mumbai, Sept 7: An off-handed remark by actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan supporting the use of Hindi by north Indians in Maharashtra has snowballed into a controversy with the Shiv Sena and Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) launching a scathing attack on her.
At the promo of Hindi film Drona last night Jaya had said, "We are from Uttar Pradesh and should speak in Hindi.”
While the Shiv Sena said, "People of Maharashtra will not tolerate such language from Jaya Bachchan," MNS demanded an apology from her for insulting the Marathi people.
