Washington, Mar 20 : ‘Limp Bizkit’ frontman Fred Durst has insisted that he ‘in no way lied’ about his alleged brief romance with Britney Spears in 2003.

Durst, 38, had told fans via his website that he was enjoying a fling with Spears after he had been roped in to help write tracks for her album.

The Toxic singer, however, told now defunct MTV show Total Request Live that she was neither dating him nor close to him.

And Durst is still slightly bruised by the knock-back, insisting the whole affair was a “fiasco of madness”.
