Washington, Jan. 30 : Barack Obama used a door that was anointed with oil from Jerusalem to enter the stage where he was inaugurated as America's 44th President.

According to The Times, two ministers - Reverend Rob Schenck, president of the Faith and Action ministry, and Patrick Mahoney, president of the Christian Defense Coalition, met Obama just inside the doors on January 7 where they filmed a short prayer service and dabbed oil -- from Jerusalem, no less -- on the doors in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

According to reports, the President was wearing just a dark suit, without an overcoat.

Michelle was clad in a purple overcoat and lavender scarf.

Her office has not revealed as yet as to what was the reason for the visit-was Sasha making a presentation, or was another child?

Washington, Jan. 30 : Alaska Governor and former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and President Barack Obama will share a stage together this Saturday night in Washington, Politico has learned.

Palin will join Obama at the Alfalfa Dinner, a venerable gathering of the city's political elite.

The president is scheduled to address the black-tie crowd at the Capital Hilton.

Palin spokesman Bill McAllister said in an e-mail that Palin would be speaking at the dinner.

New York, January 30 : U. S. President Barack Obama's liking for its two flavours has raised a tea making company's hopes for increased sales in the near future.

A representative for organic beverage makers Honest Tea has revealed that Obama favours the Green Dragon Tea and Black Forest Berry flavours, and that he has stocked the White House with the drinks.

The company's representative says that Obama even keeps a stash on the official presidential helicopter.
