New York, July 30 : Some Republicans are reportedly worried that presumptive presidential nominee John McCain may be going negative too early against potential Democratic rival Barack Obama.

They believe that McCain risks coming across as angry or partisan in a way that could turn off some independents who have been attracted by his calls for respectful campaigning.

Washington  - The Republican Party released a new television advertisement Tuesday that mocks Germany's adulation with Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama during his visit to Berlin last week.

The one-minute video contains interviews with some of the 200,000 people who attended Obama's speech in Berlin Thursday, suggesting his "international fan base" is unfit to judge who is best suited to be US president.

Washington  - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama plans to spend some 20 million dollars on a nationwide campaign to gain the support of Hispanic voters, his campaign announced Tuesday.

The money will serve to register and "mobilize" eligible Latino voters through television advertisements, internet outreach and visits by members of Congress to key constituencies around the country, the Obama campaign said.

New York, July 28 : United States Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has said that Pakistan in some cases funded the Mujahideen in Kashmir.

He said this in an interview to the Wall Street Journal published in New York on Monday.

Obama said that such efforts are counterproductive for Islamabad.

He further added that Pakistan''s help to Mujahideen continues to be a constant instigator of tension between Islamabad and New Delhi.

Jerusalem - An Israeli lawyer has asked the country's attorney-general to probe a newspaper that published the contents of a note US Democratic Party presidential hopeful left at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, The Jerusalem Post daily reported Monday.

Attorney Shahar Alon has also called for a commercial boycott of the Ma'ariv newspaper, Israel's second-biggest selling daily.

Washington, July 28: Republican presumptive presidential nominee Senator John McCain has accused his presumptive Democratic opponent Senator Barack Obama of playing politics with the Iraq war.

McCain told ABC Television in an interview that Obama is astutely choosing his positions in order to win a political campaign rather than do what is needed to win the war.
