Canongate Books will release the book on December 11.

The new book outlines Obama''s vision for the US and features his ideas on how to tackle key issues such as the economy, healthcare, energy, and America''s image abroad.

The 47-year-old leader will now video-record the address and release it on the YouTube video site as well as through radio broadcasts.

Obama will also post the address on his transition team's website www. change. gov, beginning Saturday.

According to the transition team, the weekly video addresses will continue when Obama is in the White House.
