Though, there were reports that singer Jared Murillo and actress Ashley Tisdale are not even on the talking terms after their break-up earlier this month, Murillo’s dad Alex insists that the two are still friends.

He tells People. com, "They remain good friends. They are in the same circle, they have the same friends... I think it was just the right time to do what they did." And the elder Murillo isn't ruling out a reconciliation between his son and Tisdale: "Jared is very, very happy, and is very pleased with what's going on with his work.

Washington, Apr 11 : High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has reportedly split from boyfriend Jared Murillo.

"They have not been dating for awhile now," Usmagazine quoted a source as saying.

"They just grew apart, but are remaining friends," the source added.

Tisdale and Murillo, a dancer on HSM and member of boy band V Factory, began dating in 2007.

She said that the actors were not actually sensitive like their characters they play.

Washington, February 17 : High School Musical actress Ashley Tisdale has played muse to one of her fans, who after being inspired by the star landed himself with the lead role in his school's version of `Peter Pan'.

The 23-year-old said that a teen had written to her telling about how he had gathered his nerves to audition for the part, and tasted success later.
