SSE and its energy supply brands Southern Electric, Scottish Hydro and Swalec have decided to halt cold calls and will not only contact present customers or those who have agreed to a call.

The company and its brands make a total of three million cold calls a year but the move to stop cold calls shows that the company is focusing on providing expected level of service quality to its existing customers. Watchdog Consumer Futures welcomed the move from the company by saying that such calls generally cause inconvenience to genuine stress.

Los Angeles, Aug 17 : For "Breaking Bad" actor Aaron Paul, the Coachella Music Festival will always remain special as he had met his wife, Lauren Parsekian, there.

He had fallen in love with her and shared special moments with her at the fest in Indio, California. The 33-year-old married Parsekian, a documentary film director and activist, in Malibu in May.

"Me and Lauren are addicted to musical festivals. We met at Coachella. We fell in love at Coachella. We had our first kiss on a ferris wheel at Coachella. So, anything that reminds us of that, we're very excited to do," femalefirst. co. uk quoted Paul as saying.

Los Angeles, Aug 17 : Ireland Baldwin, daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, says her mother encouraged her to become a model.

The 17-year-old admits that she never thought of herself as a pretty girl. But her mother, Kim, 59, convinced her to give up negative thoughts and enter the modelling world.

"She thought it would be good for my confidence, because I never thought of myself as a pretty girl," femalefirst. co. uk quoted Ireland as saying.

Kim started off her career as a model before turning to acting. Ireland hopes she ages as gracefully as her mother.

Luxury carmaker BMW introduced the world to its hotly anticipated M4 coupe during the 2013 Pebble Beach weekend.

The M4 coupe is an enhanced version of the BMW 4-Series coupe, which will go on sale in October this year. While the 4-Series will sell as a coupe, the company's current 3 Series is selling as a wagon or sedan.

The BMW M4 sports a lower & wider stance than the company's 3-Series upon which it's based.

London, Aug 17 : Scottish disc jockey Calvin Harris is convinced that his girlfriend, singer-songwriter Rita Ora doesn't like his music.

The 29-year-old believes Ora dislikes his catchy tracks as she seems less enthusiastic about turning up for his gigs. However, he doesn't mind as he is confident that their relationship is built on a strong foundation, reports contactmusic. com.

He told The Sun newspaper: "Rita doesn't really like dance music. She doesn't really like my music but I like hers."

New Delhi, Aug 16 : Domestic air passenger traffic grew 7.25 percent in July, the civil aviation ministry said Friday.

According to data furnished by the ministry, domestic traffic in July stood at 48.66 lakh, from 45.37 lakh passengers ferried during the corresponding month last year.

The passenger traffic had fallen by 1.84 percent in June and stood at 50.14 lakh, while it was 4.81 percent in May at 57.10 lakh passengers being ferried.
