An RPG group company, KEC International has announced that it has bagged orders worth a whooping Rs 1,511 crore in various sectors in different countries around the world.
KEC International has announced that it has received new orders worth Rs 868 crore in transmission, power systems, telecom and cables businesses.
The transmission unit of the company received new orders worth Rs 695 crore in India, UAE, Tunisia and the Philippines. The remaining new orders were received by the company’s power systems, telecom and cables divisions.
International infrastructure EPC firm, KEC International Ltd ahs bagged order worth a whooping Rs. 1,253 crore in various segments, according to a company statement.
The company bagged orders through its businesses in transmission, power systems, water, cable and telecom sectors. The company said that it has received orders worth won Rs. 723 crore in for transmission lines and towers from Saudi Arabia, United States and Afghanistan.
New Delhi, April 8 : Power transmission major KEC International Friday said it has forayed into the water business and secured a Rs. 31 crore order from the Madhya Pradesh water resource department.
"The project comprises renovation, repair and remodelling of a canal in Chhattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh," the company said in a regulatory filing.
A group company of RPG group, KEC International Ltd (KEC) on Tuesday announced that it has taken over Jay Railway Signaling Private Limited.
With this, KEC has tried to strengthen its position in the Railways-related businesses as Jay is into the business of providing Railways Signaling Automation Systems & Technology services.

The 17,000 crore rupees worth of deal between RPG group and SAE Towers of US is finally over after being stranded for two years. The takeover marks the capture of the deal which is worth 17,000 crore rupees and will be done in the name of KEC.
KEC had signed a deal with SAE Holdings by buying stakes from a private equity firm, Acon Investment and at that time it had to pay $95 million.
The takeover deal is going to be cash-free, debt-free in nature and will give KEC access to the regions of US, Canada and other Latin American markets.
