Indian Stock Market recovered smartly after massive decline in the morning trade on Wednesday. Indian currency also witnessed worst ever single day fall in decades as the currency plunged to its all-time low level of 68.75 against US dollar. There were reports that RBI asked PSU banks to sell US dollars in the market and that helped by offering some recovery in the Indian currency.

Software giant, Microsoft has upgraded its cloud storage service SkyDrive to offer a host of new features as well as additional storage space to the users.

The total storage space available for the users of SkyDrive Pro service has been increased from 7GB to 25GB. Microsoft announced the upgrades for the service on Tuesday allowing users to store a larger amount of data on the cloud based service. SkyDrive Pro service is a store 'n' sync product offering allowing users to store data on a secure cloud service and also get copy on their local devices.

New York, Aug 28 : Seventeen-year-old American Victoria Duval had a dream US Open first round show Tuesday when she beat 2011 champion Samantha Stosur of Australia 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

The world number 296 teenager posted her first win in her second Grand Slam match. She lost to Kim Clijsters in US Open first round last year.

"I know she didn't play her best today, and this is the best I've played in my career, so I'm really excited," Duval was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

"I just tried to stay in the moment."

Canadian smartphone maker, BlackBerry might be planning to separate BlackBerry Messenger service into a new company, according to people closer to the matter.

Report indicated that the new company would be called BBM Inc. BlackBerry Messenger has remained a popular platform for BlackBerry users ever since it was launched by the company on its devices. The app allows users to send and receive text messages to other BlackBerry Messenger users without paying text-messaging fees.

New Delhi, Aug 28 : "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" and documentary "The Frontier Gandhi: Badshah Khan, a Torch for Peace" will be screened as a part of the Green Carpet Premiere at the second edition of Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF) to be held at Leh in Jammu and Kashmir next month.

"We are pleased to have renowned filmmakers like Teri McLuhan ('The Frontier Gandhi') and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra ('Bhaag Milkha Bhaag') at the Green Carpet of LIFF this year," Melwyn Williams Chirayath, founder, LIFF, said in a statement.

Mumbai, Aug 28 : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has immersed himself in the shooting of the seventh season of game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC), says he gets inspiration from contestants while he watches them fighting for victory.

The 70-year-old plays a quizmaster on the show where people from all walks of life come to win the prize money of Rs. 1 crore.
