External Affairs Minister Krishna arrives in Bhutan for talks, bilateral pacts

S M KrishnaParo (Bhutan) June 18 : Foreign Minister S M Krishna arrived in Paro in Bhutan on Thursday, for a two-day visit to the Himalayan kingdom.

This is the first foreign visit by Krishna after he assumed charge of the Foreign Ministry.

Bhutanese Foreign Minister Lyonpo Ugyen Tshering and Information and Broadcasting Minister Nandlal Rai received S M Krishna, and the Indian delegation consisting of Foreign Secretary Shivshanker Menon and other Foreign Ministry officials at Paro International Airport.

ADAC signs deals for Al Ain centre

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has informed that it has clinched agreements with two UK-based companies and a memorandum of understanding with a Swiss company for business expansion at the Al Ain Aerospace Cluster.

The sources close to the company said that the agreement between Adac and the UK-based Beagle Aerospace has been signed for warehousing of aircraft components at Al Ain. The company's proposals include the commissioning of a specialist composite repair facility within the cluster.

Shiney Ahuja remanded to judicial custody till July 2

Shiney AhujaMumbai, June 18 : Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, who has been accused of raping his maid at his residence on Saturday, was on Thursday remanded to judicial custody till July 2 by a local Mumbai court.

The actor is not entitled to apply for bail. This order from the Andheri court comes after he was earlier remanded in police custody for three days.

The Public prosecution had earlier said they would seek extension of the actor''s custody adding there was enough evidence to prove the actor guilty.

Earlier, medical reports had confirmed that Ahuja''s maid was indeed raped. He will undergo DNA test.
