Rome - New AC Milan helmsman Leonardo has begun a course to earn a coaching certificate from the Italian football federation (FIGC).

Leonardo Nascimento de Araujo, 39, took over the bench of Milan earlier this month after Carlo Ancelotti moved to Chelsea after eight seasons with the Devils.

Leonardo, a former Milan footballer, is taking a six-week course to become a second-category coach. He will then be entitled to attend a first-category course, also thanks to his participation to the 1994 World Cup with Brazil's national team.

Sydney - British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay received a serve from Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd Tuesday after the potty-mouthed cook flung gratuitous insults at a female television interviewer.

The country's gross domestic product declined by 6.4 per cent in the first half of 2009, it said.

The data in the export-oriented Slovenia reflect the recession and sharply falling demand in the European Union, particularly in the top buyer of Slovenian products, Germany.

Washington, June 9 : A Swedish study from Uppsala University has shown that Siberian jays use over a dozen different calls to communicate the level of danger and predator category to other members of their own group when mobbing predators.

The new study has shown that birds have evolved call systems that are as sophisticated as those of primates and meerkats.

Most prey immediately escape upon detecting a predator. However, when encountering resting predators, many prey approach and mob predators despite the associated risk.
