London - Global business information group Thomson Reuters Tuesday announced plans to end its London stock market listing in an effort to simplify company structures.

The firm said it was looking to unify its dual structure, created when its Canadian and British parent companies merged in 2007.

Thomson Reuters will remain on the New York and Toronto stock exchanges under the scheme, which will be put to shareholders at meetings in August.

Beijing - A court in south-western China sentenced a Tibetan tour guide to three years in prison after convicting him of "inciting separatism" by sending email and text messages about unrest among Tibetans, a US-based rights group said on Tuesday.

The Dui Hua Foundation circulated copies of two court documents for the first trial and appealed the sentence of Gonpo Tserang, 32, in the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan province.

Washington, June 23 : Health experts at the University Children''s Hospital Zurich have opened new horizons for the treatment of different neurological brain disorders by successfully treating ten patients using transcranial high-intensity focused ultrasound.

This is the first time that any team of experts have successfully used the Magnetic Resonance-guided, non-invasive method for brain surgery.

The team carried out this work as part of a Swiss National research project.
