A new research may help people who are living with vision problems. Two research teams have discovered a creative way that may help people regenerate their own eye lens.

First team’s researchers have created a surgical technique that they claim can reset stem cell in the human eye to take the place of damaged eye tissue. The technique is capable of replacing tissues damaged by cataracts or an eye disease.

The second research team from Japan has developed a new way that turns ordinary skin cells into different kinds of eye cells.

Eye experts believe both the new techniques can replace clumsy cataract or cornea surgery. Both the ways show therapeutic potential of stem cells, said Dr. Julie Daniels, an ophthalmologist at University College London.

Dorrie Nuttall, Luke’s mother, discussed a recent incident on social media where Jedi saved the boy’s life at nighttime when other family members were sleeping. She said the family came to know about seven-year-old boy’s serious condition when they found Jedi lying on top of Dorrie.

According to a latest study, kidney disease patients could live far longer if they get a transplant even from an incompatible living donor instead of waiting and wasting time in search of a good match.

The results may offer another choice to kidney patients, who could otherwise lose their life while waiting for a well-matched deceased donor.

To be specific, experts said that the results have come up as a ray of hope for ‘highly sensitized’ transplant candidates.

A new study has found that over 50% of the average American diet contains so-called ultra-processed foods. Study researchers reported that these foods are responsible for 90% of the excess sugar calories consumed by Americans.

The 26-year-old woman received uterus transplant last month from a dead donor after undergoing a nine-hour-long operation. The transplant was the first ever operation conducted in the United States.

In an official statement, surgeons at the Cleveland clinic said that they are saddened to disclose that their patient, Lindsey has lately experienced an unexpected complication that forced the removal of her transplanted uterus.

The cause and the situation of the complication are under review so far. The clinic mentioned that Lindsey was doing well and will recover soon.
