New Delhi [India], Sept. 26 : The week starts with a huge excitement among the PeeCee fans as the second season of her American TV series 'Quantico' will premiere tonight in India.

Ahead of this big day, the 34-year-old actress attended a special 'outdoor screening' with the cast and crew in the United States and shared a glimpse of how they "roll."

Priyanka shared a snap of the team and wrote alongside, "Cast and crew! Live tweeting with you #quantico season 2."

Another Insta-snap showed a clip from the show which was captioned, "Outdoor screening!! Cast and crew! #quan2co"

Allahabad [India], Sept. 26 : A PIL was filed on Monday over Baloch Republican Party (BRP) founder Brahumdagh Bugti's asylum request to India and the matter will be heard at the Allahabad court today.

The PIL was filed to the Lucknow bench of Allahabad Court.

This development comes after Bugti last week announced that he would appeal for a political asylum in India.

Bugti said that the decision was taken in his party's central committee meeting.

"The meeting of our central committee ended today. And in the meeting the members of the central committee have decided with majority that I will appeal for a political asylum in India," Bugti told ANI.

Bugti said that the he would seek an appointment with the Indian embassy in Geneva.

London [England], Sept 26 : Arnold Palmer, one of the greatest players in the history of golf, has passed away at the age of 87.

According to the Guardian, the American golfer's health had been in decline for some time and died in a hospital in Pennsylvania.

Describing Palmer as a "legend" and "icon", his greatest rival Jack Nicklaus said on Twitter that the former was "one of my best friends". "He was the king of our sport and always will be," Nicklaus wrote.

Former world number one Tiger Woods also paid rich tribute to the legend on his Twitter handle. "Thanks Arnold for your friendship, counsel and a lot of laughs. Your philanthropy and humility are part of your legend," he said.

"It's hard to imagine golf without you or anyone more important to the game than the King."

New Delhi [India], Sept. 26 : India's largest civilian research and development agency Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, CSIR is celebrating its platinum jubilee today.

The autonomous body came into operation on this day in 1942. The platinum jubilee celebrations will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is also the President of CSIR.

"Will join the @CSIR_IND Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, where I will release seven new plant varieties developed at CSIR laboratories," Prime Minister Modi tweeted.

"Shall also confer awards to eminent scientists & witness exhibits of unique works of @CSIR_IND during the programme today. Looking forward," he added.

New Delhi [India], Sept. 26 - For the first time, the PSLV satellite launcher will take flight with multiple passengers in two different orbits today.

The flight will last two hours and 15 minutes, making it the PSLV's longest ever.

A routine PSLV launch normally lasts about 20 minutes.

The countdown for the PSLV-C35 mission carrying Indian meteorological satellite SCATSAT-1 and seven other payloads belonging to three foreign customers and two Indian universities began on Saturday.

The rocket is scheduled to get ignited this morning.

The foreign payloads include three from Algeria, one each from the U.S. and Canada and two from as many Indian educational institutions. This would be the 37th flight for the PSLV and the 15th time it will blast off in its extended version.

New Delhi [India], Sept. 26 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with farmers of five states through a webcast on Monday.

He will hold live telecast discussions with farmers from Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

The first interaction will be with two farmers from Hyderabad. He will be presented with a new and highly productive turmeric variety named Pitamber and plants of the same will be gifted to two farmers at Hyderabad.

At Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, a variety of Vetiver will be released and Prime Minister Modi will be presented plants of this aromatic crop in Delhi.

He will also release the rose scented variety derived from the Geranium flower.
