Spotted at the event were Tiger Shroff, Waluscha De Sousa, Saif Ali Khan, Huma Qureshi, Sarah-Jane Dias, Kunal Kapoor, Diana Penty, Pooja Hegde, Disha Patani and a few others with their fashion-foot in front of the world.

Where the 'Bajirao' of Bollywood went back with the 'Actor of the Year' award, Kangana too took 'Woman of the Year' trophy in her kitty.

Big-B, on the other hand was honoured at the event with the special 'The Legend' award.

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], Sept. 28 : With the Supreme Court yesterday directing the Karnataka government to comply with its earlier order of releasing 6,000 cusecs of the Cauvery River water to Tamil Nadu for the next three days i.e. till Friday, former chief minister and BJP state president B.S. Yeddyurappa on Wednesday said there is no water at all, and added that his party would support Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at an all-party meeting being held today.

Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Sept. 28 : An Uttar Pradesh farmer set a novel example before people by performing the last rites of his ox as per Hindu rituals and organised a feast for as many as 1,000 people 13 days after the death of his bovine (tehravi Ceremony).

Ramu, the bovine of farmer Pappu Yadav, who is a resident of Sikrora Bhur village under Gunnaur panchaya in Sambhal district, was suffering from a prolonged illness for the past few months. Yadav loved Ramu like his own child, and provided him with every every possible medical treatment in a bid to restore its health, but the bovine succumbed to his illness 12 days ago.

New Delhi [India], Sept. 28 : The Supreme Court will on Wednesday hear Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy's plea for extension of his interim parole.

The apex court earlier on September 23 ordered that Roy should be taken into custody till October 3, but in a reprieve stayed his arrest till September 30.

A two-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Tirath Singh Thakur passed the order after hearing an application filed by Kapil Sibal, the lawyer appearing for Roy. Sibal sought a reprieve for Roy on the ground that he would follow all rules and regulations.

Sibal had tendered an unconditional apology to the apex court and urged it to cancel its order on Roy's parole delivered in the morning, following which the court agreed to hear the matter.

Abuja [Nigeria], Sept. 28 : India and Nigeria have held discussions on the perception, exchange of information or intelligence related to terrorism and have agreed, if at all, to evolve joint action to counter this ever looming threat.

Briefing the media over delegation-level talks between Vice President M. Hamid Ansari and his Nigerian counterpart Yemi Osinbajo here on Tuesday, Secretary, Economic Relations (ER), Ministry of External Affairs, Amar Sinha said, "Terrorism, of course, was a common theme and, of course, with a difference that Nigeria has been lucky that it has got collaborations and cooperation from all its neighbours unlike ours, where one of our neighbours seems to become a source for a lot of terrorist activities that happen in India."

London [UK], Sept.28 : A high level of fear and political intimidation prevails in The Maldives according to a briefing note submitted recently to the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG). The island nation is cautioned that if it continues on this path of coercion of opposition and intimidation there could be international consequences.
