New Delhi [India], Oct.10 : Former External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid has rubbished suggestions of their being a complete gap or lack of communication between India's armed forces and the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said the fact that twelve army soldiers were rescued by local residents after their truck overturned in Lasjan near Srinagar on Sunday, is proof of this.

"That's very good. I mean it shows people, who believe that there is a complete gap between our armed forces and the local population, because of the tension that has existed for the last two-three months is not entirely true; there are still human relationships and human bonds," Khurshid told ANI.

According to the World Health Organisation, 'if we don't act urgently, by 2030 depression will be the leading illness globally.'

London [UK], Oct. 10 : Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has said that if he was elected as the president of the United States, he would instruct the attorney general to "investigate" Hillary Clinton and to put her behind bars for using her personal and unsecured email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

Speaking at the second presidential debate in St Louis in front of millions of viewers, Trump told the Democrat that she should be "ashamed of herself" for deleting 33,000 emails, reports the Independent.

Trump said he would appoint a special prosecutor to look into the matter because she had endangered national security while she served as President Barack Obama's chief diplomat from 2009-2013.

Washington D.C. [US], Oct. 10 : US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday said he was "embarrassed" by a video in which he made obscene comments about groping women without consent and dismissed it as "locker room talk."

A shocking previously unaired footage from 2005 had surfaced in which Trump can be seen unabashedly bragging about trying to sleep with a married woman and being able to grope women as well.

"I am very embarrassed by it, hate it, it is locker room talk," Trump replied during the second presidential debate at Washington University on Sunday.

Trump, who is facing a party rebellion over the video, alleged that former president Bill Clinton had done worse to women.

"Mine were words, His (Bill Clinton) were action," he said.

London [England], Oct. 9 : England caretaker manager Gareth Southgate has offered a public defence of captain Wayne Rooney, who was subjected to booing during side's 2-0 World Cup qualifier win over Malta on Saturday.

England showcased a brilliant performance in the first half of the game with Dele Alli and Daniel Sturridge scoring the two goals which proved enough to earn the three points for Southgate's side.

But after the break, England's performance dropped significantly, to the extent that some sections of the crowd at Wembley booed at the final whistle.

Rooney was booed by some home supporters when his name was read out over the PA system before the kick-off and was later on once again criticised by the fans after he overhit a shot.
