New Delhi [India], Oct 11 : As Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 74th birthday today, the nation collectively sent him well wishes through the social media.

Fans and celebrity alike took to Twitter and other social media platforms to relive the 73-year-old superstar's best moments in the film industry as well as the good things to come following this special day.

One well wisher tweeted "#HappyBirthdayAmitabhBachchan. Let's start the day with a love song of @SrBachchan" along with the popular romantic song from the movie from 1981, 'Silsila' titled 'Dekha Ek Khwab To Yeh Silsile Hue.'

"Bollywood is famous today because of this two @iamsrk @SrBachchan. #HappyBirthdayAmitabhBachchan," another tweeted with a picture of Bachchan alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

Islamabad [Pakistan], Oct.11 : After a journalist from Dawn was put on Pakistan's Exit Control List following his article that reported a rift between the country's civil and military leaderships, the newspaper asserted on Tuesday that it stands by the report and accused the government of "scape-goating the newspaper in a malicious campaign."

Cyril Almeida, Dawn's assistant editor, took to his twitter account on Monday to point out that his name has appeared on the list.

"I am told and have been informed and have been shown evidence that I am on the Exit Control List," he tweeted.

The Exit Control List is an ordinance which empowers the Pakistan government to bar people whose names appear on the list from leaving the country.

London [England], Oct. 10 : After a host of Hollywood A-listers, singing sensation Lady Gaga is all set to acquire the passenger seat in James Corden's Carpool Karaoke.

Sharing the news with her fans, the 'Womanizer' hit-maker took to twitter to announce with a picture after they filmed the segment on recently, reports Telegraph.

"Had a lil fun with @JKCorden today! coming soon! #JOANNE #CARPOOLKARAOKE #MILLIONREASONS #PERFECTILLUSION," she captioned the picture.

In the snap, the 30-year-old crooner and Corden wore matching pink hats, similar to the one worn in the singer's forthcoming album Joanne.

New Delhi[ India], Oct. 10 : Smartphone giant Samsung said that they are adjusting the production output of Galaxy Note 7 to "ensure" quality following more reports of these smartphones catching fire.

In a statement last month, Samsung said that the issue of overheating is caused by a "rare" manufacturing error that resulted in the battery's "anode-to-cathode [negative and positive electrodes]" coming into contact.

Last week, a domestic flight in the United States had to be evacuated after a replacement Note 7 started emitting smoke in the cabin. A man in Kentucky reportedly woke up to a bedroom full of smoke from a replaced Note 7 in another incident.

Samsung said it has understood the concerns of carriers and consumers about the newly released replacement Note 7 devices.

New Delhi [India], Oct.10 : Transport services have garnered the highest share of over 71 per cent in terms of investments worth over Rs 53 lakh crore attracted by infrastructure sector from both public and private sources across India as of 2015, noted a recent ASSOCHAM study.

"Miscellaneous services sector which includes storage and distribution, education, health, recreational and other such services accounts for second highest share of about 13 per cent in total investments attracted by infrastructure sector by states across India, followed by communication (five per cent), wholesale and retail trading (five per cent), information technology (four per cent) and hotels & tourism (two per cent)," highlighted the ASSOCHAM study titled 'Analysis of infrastructure investment in India.'

Some women may consume phytoestrogens promoted as natural alternatives to hormone replacement therapy to help ease menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes or to protect against bone loss.
