New Delhi [India], Oct 21 : Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday hailed the constructive debate on the triple talaq issue and said such discussions lead to concrete solutions.

Naqvi urged all to participate in the debate, asserting that through the medium of healthy discussion, all perspectives get heard.

"I am happy about the fact that a very healthy and constructive and academic debate is happening on the triple talaq matter. Such debate is a very good way to find a solution as all prospective are put forward and are heard," he said.

"I would like to urge all those who are not ready to participate to come forward and share their views," he added.

New York [USA], Oct. 21 : ISIS militants have reportedly carried out coordinated attacks on several security buildings in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk.

According to the security officials, dozens of militants targeted four police stations and Kurdish security offices, spreading themselves out through several residential neighborhoods, reports CNN.

The officials said that clashes were underway in the southern part of the city as of Friday morning.

Though the exact figures are unknown but a number of people were killed and wounded in the clashes.

Images broadcast on local television showed what appeared to be dead or injured fighters on the street.

The attack comes as Iraqi and Kurdish forces battle ISIS militants in Iraq's second-largest city of Mosul.

Melbourne [Australia], Oct. 21 : Fast bowler John Hastings is not expected to be available for Australia's three-match ODI series against New Zealand in December after suffering from an injury.

Hastings, who suffered from a broken finger during a fielding drill, was today ruled out of Victoria's one-day cup elimination final against NSW and next week's opening round of the Sheffield Shield season.

Hastings, who has played 22 ODIs including Australia's recent tour of South Africa, would be out of action for at least four to six weeks.

"John suffered an injury to his left-index finger during catching practice at training yesterday," news.com.au quoted Bushrangers' sports medicine manager Nick Adcock as saying.

New Delhi [India], Oct. 21 : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed the use the Decision Review System on a trial basis in the forthcoming Test series between India and England starting from the 9th of November, so as to evaluate the improvements made to the system, over a period of time

In the meeting with the International Cricket Council and the Hawkeye officials, the improvements made to the system were further evaluated by the BCCI team, who were satisfied that most of the concerns and suggestions that were expressed by BCCI over a period of time, were addressed to a significant extent.
