It has been reported that Money Magazine, announcing its picks for the best 100 U. S. towns, gave first place to Eden Prairie, Minn., and 100th to Mount Pleasant, S. C.

The magazine reported in New York on Tuesday that numbers 2 through 4, in ascending order are Columbia/Ellicott City, Md., Newton, Mass., Bellevue, Wash., and McKinney, Texas.

Wendi Seminari, whose child and grandchildren also live in the city, said, "I love living in Eden Prairie." She said Eden Prairie is "good for all ages."

According to the media reports, Colton Harris-Moore, the "barefoot bandit" wanted in a series of U. S. thefts, was deported to the United States Tuesday after pleading guilty in the Bahamas.

CNN has reported that FBI Special Agent Judith Orihuela said a plane carrying Harris-Moore arrived in Miami at 6:23 p. m. EDT. Harris-Moore is to appear Wednesday in federal court in Miami.

The Montgomery Advertiser has reported that with 96 percent of precincts reporting, Bentley had 56 percent of the vote to 44 percent for former two-year college Chancellor Bradley Byrne. Bentley and Byrne nosed out five other Republicans in a June 1 primary race.
