According to reports, police officials have made progress in the inquiries into the murder of MaddelacheruvuSuryanarayana Reddy a. k. a. Suri, and they were almost near to naming the offenders.

Mr. A K Khan, City Police Commissioner stated, "There is progress in the (Suri murder) investigation. We are close to almost identifying the culprits and the motive behind the murder."

Mr. Khan stated that the police detectives have asked some people not to leave Hyderabad.
