Mumbai, Jan 30 - Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol won the best actor and actress award respectively for "My Name Is Khan" at the 56th Filmfare Awards Saturday, which was ruled by small budget movie "Udaan" that bagged as many as eight trophies.

Karan Johar walked away with the best director award for "My Name Is Khan", while Salman Khan starrer "Dabangg" was declared the best film at the gala event, hosted by Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan. The two were at their wittiest best.

Lavazza is one of the leading coffee roasters of Italy; is planning to commence a coffee plant in India next year.

It is planning to expand its business in some of the growing coffee markets like India and the Asia Pacific region. This has been informed by the company on Friday.

The company would invest about 20 million euros (USD 27.4 million) in the plant. It will have initial capacity of about 1,000 tonnes of roasted coffee a year which could be raised by 40% in three years as stated by Lavazza. It runs in more than 90 countries.

A new project has been attained by the Wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy. It has received an order for 1,000 MW of projects from Caparo Energy India.

The worth of the project is $1.28 billion (around Rs 5,800 crore) as stated by the company. The company has also reported that the projects will be steadily developed by March 2013.

According to a company official, this will provide Suzlon a major opportunity to position it in the Indian market at a place where it is might be placed two years from now.

Heli Taxi services the first ever service offered by any ministry to facilitate high-end tourism in the country.

This morning Himachal chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal initiates the Heli taxi services in the valley to capture the high-end tourists. He flagged the first helicopter flight from Kullu from Annandale helipad.

Sim-Sam company is the owner of the helicopter. The minister has gifted Himachali cap and shawl to the first passenger boarded the flight to Kullu in the helicopter.

Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin has announced that they have awarded new contract to the Metro Rail Limited. The company will construct the underground works and tunnels at Meenambakkam metro rail station as well. Mr. Stalin has informed this fact to the reporters on Friday after the inspection of the ongoing Metro works.

Metro Rail Limited has received the contract to design and construct the underground stations at Washermenpet, Mannadi, High Court, Central and Egmore.

Looking at the growing demand for small cars in India and the possible profitability, Germany based luxury car maker Mercedes Benz is investing in development of a premium small car specifically for Indian market. Daimler, which is one of the world’s major luxury auto manufacturers and the parent company of Mercedes Benz, is planning to set up a full manufacturing facility in Chakan, Maharashtra along with brand centers in major metros like New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai.
