Jennifer Hudson’s bother-in-law arrested in her slain family case
Washington, December 2 : William Balfour, the prime suspect in the family murders of actress Jennifer Hudson, has been sent behind the bars on charges of first-degree killings of the Oscar-winner’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew.
The 27-year-old, who had remained in custody on a parole violation, was shifted to Chicago police custody after the cops had served a warrant for his arrest, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Balfour was is said to have had regular screaming rows with Hudson''s sister, Julia, over matters involving money and infidelities, as per the family members and neighbours.
The constant busts up had led to Balfour being thrown out of the house in recent months and he had reportedly threatened his wife and her family.
Jennifer’s mother and brother were found shot dead on October 24 in their Chicago residence while the body of her nephew was discovered three days later in an abandoned car in Chicago.
"She is doing very, very well. She''s very strong. There''s so much strength within her that she''s going to be okay,” US Weekly quoted friend Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley as saying. (ANI)
