MIG crashed, pilots safe
A MIG-21 aircraft of Indian Air Force crashed in Assam's Sibsagar district on Wednesday.
But the two pilots in that aircraft are safe according to reports.
Squadron Leader Subhandeep and Wing Commander Nanda, ejected and landed safely with the help of their parachutes, the sources added.
The accident occurred at at Mathurapur near Gariapathar at about 10.45 am within three minutes of flying from Chabua airbase in Dibrugarh district.
Police and Air Force officers have rushed to the spot and are investigating into the matter.
