15 injured in Srinagar grenade blast
Srinagar, Sept 17 : At least 15 people were injured in a grenade blast at Badshah Chowk in Srinagar today.
Militants hurled the hand grenade targeting a security picket at the entrance of the Akhara building, but it missed the target.
According to officials, the grenade, instead hit a passing-by, passenger bus at around 11.30 a. m. injuring 15 pedestrians.
It''s since three months Kashmir valley has seen such an attack at a busy place. Police suspects the militant hands behind the attack.
However, security has been tightened and the search for the suspects has begun. (ANI)
