Ashwani Gujral: Trading Call Performance for Titan, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, UltraTech Cement and Zee
Indian markets opened flat today but during the afternoon session, selling pressure led markets towards the intraday lows. Market expert Ashwani Gujral suggested three BUY calls and two SELL calls for today’s trading session. While US markets closed strong on Monday, Indian markets have declined nearly 1.3 percent towards the end of the trading session.
Gujral suggested traders to BUY Titan with a stop loss of Rs 1,020, target at Rs 1,065. Titan opened at Rs 1037 and touched an intraday high of Rs 1047. The stock touched stop loss of Rs 1020 at 9.30 am, during the first 15 minutes of trade. This call has FAILED.
Gujral also had a private sector banking major Axis Bank on his BUY list with a stop loss of Rs 425, target at Rs 450. Axis Bank opened at Rs 435 and touched intraday high of Rs 442. The stock missed the target but Stop Loss was hit. Axis Bank touched intraday low of Rs 416.50. This call has FAILED.
Gujral suggested BUY call for Tata Motors with a stop loss of Rs 112, target at Rs 124. Tata Motors opened at Rs 117.45 and couldn’t reach target price. The stock touched 110.25 as intraday low, hitting Stop Loss. This call has FAILED.
Gujral had two sell calls for today’s trading session. Traders were suggested to SELL Zee with a stop loss of Rs 202, target at Rs 187. Zee opened at Rs 199 and touched intraday high of Rs 202.3, thereby hitting stop loss at Rs 202. The stock later declined by this call as FAILED as well because stop loss was hit.
UltraTech Cement SELL call was suggested with a stop loss of Rs 3,820, target at Rs 3,700. UltraTech Cement opened at Rs 3805 and the stock touched intraday high of Rs 3834. The stop loss was hit at 10.10 am. This call has failed as well.
All the five calls suggested by Ashwani Gujral today have failed. The markets declined today and majority of market experts were not expecting such a decline. This has resulted in trading calls not working as per recommendations. TopNews always suggests traders to use Stop Loss to minimize loss in case the stock doesn’t perform as per expectations.
